THE body of a Hampshire man has been found in woodland.
Edmund Jeske vanished from the Hythe area on Saturday and was last seen in Roseberry Avenue.
But the 65-year-old's body was discovered by police at around 12pm today in Butts Ash Wood, Hythe.
A Hampshire police spokesman confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
She said: “Unfortunately officers discovered the body around midday and the death is not being treated as suspicious. A file is being prepared for the coroner and his family has been informed.”
Officers had been searching for Mr Jeske for four days after becoming concerned for his welfare.
A post mortem will take place tomorrow.
