Shoplifter fined
A SOUTHAMPTON shoplifter has been fined by magistrates in Basingstoke.
John Walsh, 51, of Bitterne Road West, admitted stealing perfume worth £63.98 from Boots and after shave valued at £32 from Debenhams, both in Basingstoke on December 21. Magistrates fined him £75 and told him to pay a £20 victim surcharge and costs of £85. The items were recovered.
