HAMPSHIRE comedian Jim Davidson faced up to former heavyweight boxing champ Evander Holyfield (below) as he entered the Celebrity Big Brother house last night.

Daily Echo:

The 60-year-old, who has a home in the village of Stockbridge, will be scrutinised by the watching eyes of thousands of viewers during his time in the famous house with a host of familiar faces.

His inclusion comes a year after he was forced to withdraw from the 2013 version of the show as he faced a number of allegations of historic sex offences. But the former Big Break and Generation Game host expressed his delight in December after he was told he would face no action over an alleged sex offence in the Falkland Islands in the 1980s.

In August officers from Scotland Yard told Davidson, who spent eight months on bail, he would face no further action in the UK following his arrest in relation to ten allegations.

He was first held in January by O p e r a t i o n Yewtree detectives, and rearrested in March after further allegations emerged.

Daily Echo:

The comedian, who appeared on Hell’s Kitchen in 2007, will be joined by Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke (above), who was brought up in Southampton.

The celebrity, who has already made a name for himself as a reality TV heavyweight, left the show last year.

He grew up in the city before moving to London aged 19 to work as a writer, then later a fashion editor for an independent Chelsea magazine.

Ollie visited WHSmith in Above Bar Street in April last year to unveil his autobiography Laid in Chelsea.
