Fined for ignoring police
A SOUTHAMPTON man is £70 poorer after ignoring a police officer’s order to leave an area.
Benjamin Hopwood, 24, of Wakefield Road, Midanbury, was told to vacate London Street in Basingstoke on November 30, the town magistrates court heard.
Hopwood admitted the charge and was fined £70 with a £20 victim surcharge and £20 costs.
