Driver lied about insurance
A SOUTHAMPTON woman lied about the insurance on her vehicle, a court heard.
Jade McFarlane, 26, of Wavell Road, Bitterne, admitted using a certificate of insurance with intent to deceive on June 1.
She also pleaded guilty to driving a 55-reg Seat Ibiza in Swanmore Lane, Bishop’s Waltham, with no insurance on May 31.
Magistrates in Basingstoke fined her £160, with a £20 victim surcharge and costs of £15.
Her licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
