A WOMAN had to be rescued from her car by firefighters when she became stranded in a flooded ford in the New Forest today.
Her Nissan Micra got into difficulty in fast flowing water in Ringwood Road in South Gorley at 3.01pm.
Crews from Fordingbridge and Ringwood police stations waded into the water to lead her to safety.
A water rescue unit from Fareham were initially dispatched but she was rescued before they arrived.
