ALL the ‘12 dogs of Christmas’ have now left the rehoming centre in Southampton.
The litter of puppies were brought into the Southampton Blue Cross in West End last month in the run up to Christmas.
Staff gave them appropriately festive names – Mary, Holly, Ivy, Robin, Elf and Tinsel for the females and Joseph, Noel, Rudolph, Frosty, Snowy and Gabriel for the males.
The centre said it has had lots of interest after they appeared in the Daily Echo and has now found new homes for the remaining seven puppies that stayed at the Southampton centre.
Five of the puppies had gone to the Blue Cross centre at Thirsk.
The Southampton Blue Cross Centre at West End took on the 12 puppies after their owner found they could not cope with the American bulldog-cross puppies and decided the best thing to do was to rehome them.
They were some of the 21 puppies that the centre took in during the festive run-up.
