THERE are just days left for individuals, groups or organisations that deliver crime reduction projects to apply for a grant.
Hampshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Hayes is reminding crime fighting projects to submit funding bids for the Protecting People and Places Fund before midday on Monday, January 13.
The fund currently holds a total of £35,932 and grants of up to £5,000 are being offered from the final tranche of funding.
The priorities groups must support are improving frontline policing to deter criminals and keep communities safe, placing victims and witnesses at the heart of policing and the wider criminal justice system, working together to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour in communities, and reduce re-offending.
