A HAMPSHIRE plasterer has appeared in crown court accused of murdering his identical twin brother.
Robert Cerqua, 31, made a five-minute appearance at Winchester Crown Court yesterday afternoon.
Wearing a grey casual top and dark trousers, he spoke only to confirm his name.
Cerqua, of Langdown Road, Hythe, is accused of stabbing Chris Cerqua to death at the family home on New Year’s Eve.
The hearing set out the timetable for the prosecution with a plea and case management hearing due on February 28 and a possible trial date of June 23 but more likely in the autumn.
Judge Guy Boney QC remanded Cerqua in custody. There was no application for bail.
