A WINCHESTER man who was caught drink-driving near his home has been banned from the road for 14 months.
Andrew Pymm, 59, of Cassandra Road, Abbotts Barton, was stopped in a 51-reg Volvo on Worthy Road.
Pymm admitted driving with excess alcohol. The reading was 63 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court heard. He was also fined £350 and told to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and £85 costs. The disqualification will be reduced by 15 weeks on completion of an approved course.
