Tractor falls off trailer and closes road
MOTORISTS are being urged to avoid a New Forest road after a tractor came off a flat bed trailer while being towed.
The incident happened on the A337 Lyndhurst Road just north of the B3055 Balmer Lawn Road just after 1.15pm.
As a result the road continues to be blocked in both directions while the emergency services recover the vehicle which came off the trailer which was being towed by a Land Rover.
The accident was also reported to have caused an oil spillage which needs to be cleared before the road can be reopened.
