DOG boarding company Wagging Tails, based in Damerham, has raised more than £850 for Hounds for Heroes.

The charity provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled armed forces and civilian emergency services staff.

Mascot Bernie (Wagging Tails director Jim Suswain) attended a number of county shows and ran both the 2013 Bath and Reading half-marathons.

The company also encouraged owners to make donations to the charity when booking their dogs’ holidays.
