NOMINATIONS are now open for the Mayor of Winchester’s Community Awards 2014.
The awards, which celebrate the voluntary work of organisations, individuals and com-munities in the Winchester district, will take place on March 17.
The mayor and Winchester Area Community Action (WACA) believe it is important to recognise people who enrich the lives of others in a community that “buzzes” with voluntary activity.
Nomination forms can be downloaded from the city council website.
The closing date for nominations is February 7.
