Another three animals have been killed on New Forest roads.
A bay filly was fatally injured in a late-night collision on the B3054 Lymington to Beaulieu road, despite wearing a reflective collar that aims to make ponies more visible at night.
A calf had to be put down after a hit-and-run accident on the B3078 at Black Gutter Bottom, Godshill.
Another hit-and-run incident occurred on the B3054 near Hatchet Mill, Beaulieu, but the pony was unhurt.
A two-year-colt was seriously injured in a collision at Burley Road, Thorney Hill, and had to be put down.
