FIREFIGHTERS from across Hampshire battled a huge blaze last night (Friday).
Around 50 firefighters were called to Portsmouth Naval Base after a fire broke out in an office block.
Crews from Redbridge and Fareham were among the firefighters which tackled the blaze, which broke out near the Trafalgar Gate entrance at 9.49pm.
A total of ten fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms were sent to extinguish the fire.
No one was hurt in the incident and an investigation into the cause is taking place.
