Resident Ian Wells saw alert on community web page and reunited dog with owner

A HAMPSHIRE community's web page has helped prove its worth when a lost Labrador was located.

Help was requested on the Hursley Yammer website after a black Labrador bolted when a fence came down and wandered in the park in Hursley, near Winchester.

Resident Ian Wells noticed the dog, concerned it was not accompanied by its owner, and took the dog home quickly alerting other group members with a quick text message about the situation.

Fortunately the dog's owner was with a group member at the time the text was received and claimed back the dog, recognising it because of its blue collar.

So pleased this story had a quick and happy ending. Please could I ask Echo readers to keep their eyes open for Max. He has been missing from Midanbury for two days now
