A MAN was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning after he was involved in a road crash.
Eastleigh police were called when the man, thought to be in his twenties, was involved in the accident in his blue Toyota Yaris at the traffic lights at the slip road of junction 5 westbound on the M27 at 3.46am.
South Central Ambulance sent one rapid response vehicle and a dual-manned ambulance when they were called by police and took the man to Southampton General Hospital for a check-up as a result of the airbag going off.
The man is not thought to have been seriously injured and no other vehicles are thought to have been involved.
