A HAMPSHIRE Member of Youth Parliament (MYP) is celebrating after receiving a prestigious award from the British Youth Council.
Sam Longmore, 16, who represents the New Forest and Test Valley, won a Youth Voice Award for his work since taking office in March.
One such success was enlisting The Mountbatten School, Romsey, into the Curriculum for Life – a national campaign that emphasises topics which prepare youngsters for life, such as politics, finance skills and sustainable living.
