Daily Echo: Hunt for man committing sex act behind community centre Hunt for man committing sex act behind community centre

A POLICE hunt is underway to catch a man who was twice seen performing a sex act behind a Hampshire community centre.

On two separate occasions, walkers have seen the man carry out the sex offences in the Hatch Grange woods area in West End.

Police say that in both cases, the man was seen in the area behind the village Community Centre.

The first incident was at 3.30pm Friday, December 27. The second was at 2.54pm Saturday, January 11.

He is described as a slim white man in his late teens or early twenties and about 5ft 4ins tall. He wore a black or dark-coloured top.

Sergeant Christine Wall is appealing for information from the public.

She said:“Due to the times of day, there would be people in the area who may have seen something or someone which did not seem suspicious. But, if you saw someone of this description, please contact the police. Your information may be very useful.

“We also want to remind people to be alert and to ensure your own personal safety when using this area.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Hedge End on 101. Anyone who sees such an act being committed should ring 999 immediately.

Sounds llike nobody else was involved in this "sex act". Presumably he is performing a solo.

The problem with the way police describe sex acts by men means that this man could have been having a pee or having a wnak.

No one else seems to have been involved. To be honest, if I had seen him I would have just turned the other way and ignored him.

Yep. Quite often, having a crafty pee somewhere can be written up as a "sex offence". Ridiculous, really. Who's the more depraved? The man who urinates in public, or the man who considers said act "sexual"? Not including Germany, of course, what with their golden showers etc.
