A HAMPSHIRE man was punched several times in the face by two men who robbed him as he walked through Southampton.
The 24-year-old had just entered the underpass near to the Premier Inn, on New Road, in the city, when the two men pounced on him without warning.
He was punched multiple times in the face and body before they stole his Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 mobile phone, wallet and keys.
Fortunately the victim only suffered bruising.
The incident happened on January 11, between 4am and 5.30am, although police have only now released details of the attack.
