A DRUG dealer who sold narcotics to feed his habit has been jailed for three years.
Louis Roser wept in the dock at Southampton Crown Court as he was jailed after pleading guilty to supplying cannabis and two counts of offering to supply class A drugs.
The court heard how Roser, 22, of Cheriton Avenue, Southampton, was arrested in May last year after police stopped a car he was travelling in.
They found a bag with £1,000 in cash and a wash bag containing scales, deal bags, a list of dealers and clients and four other deal bags containing traces of cocaine.
They also found messages on his phone quoting prices for class A drugs MDMA and cocaine.
But Zoe Van den Bosche, for Roser, stressed that her client did not directly sell the class A drugs. She said that the bags with traces of cocaine were for personal use.
As well as being jailed, Roser was also ordered to pay a £120 victim surcharge.
