  • "Is it not enough that the opposing team have crocked our defenders ?'
WTF was he thinking, certainly not of us and the team.

Remember how good the first 10 games felt…now the last ten games, NC, injuries, missed opportunities, nonetheless it is our way….

... look at our past every time excepting 76 we threaten to come good we always and I mean always 8ugger it up…it is the Southampton way..

...we could have won the 79 league cup, …

…we could have won the league 82…

…we could have won the league 84…

...we could have won the FA cup 84 and done more in the 87 semi final…

...we could have gone to penalties with Arsenal in 2003..

…we could have won league one..

…we could have won the Championship…

….we could have had at least 12 points more this season just by taking a reasonable % our chances…

…I am beginning to think were jinxed…but no it's the Southampton way..ffs."

Dani Osvaldo suspended by Southampton FC for alleged headbutt on Jose Fonte

Dani Osvaldo’s future at Saints has been plunged into uncertainty, after the club’s record signing was suspended for allegedly head-butting José Fonte in training.

The centre back suffered facial injuries during Wednesday’s incident, with some blood understood to have been drawn.

The damage is not serious, though, and the defender was at the club’s Staplewood base, as normal, for training today.

Saints decided to take the strongest course of immediate action available to them by suspending Osvaldo, who they accused of a “breach of conduct”, for two weeks.

A fine also looks likely for the Italian international, with two weeks’ wages – believed to be around the £120,000 mark – the most severe punishment the club could dish out in that regard.

While Osvaldo is the subject of a disciplinary process, Saints see no reason to take, or even consider, any action against Fonte.
