A WINCHESTER man accused of being in charge of a car when over the alcohol limit has been cleared.
Sebastian Sokolowski, 31, of Tilden Road, Compton, was alleged to have been in charge of a 05-reg VW Passat in Warren Road, Winnall, on January 1.
His alcohol reading was 49 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35.
But the case was dismissed when prosecutors offered no evidence at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court.
