A SOUTHAMPTON charity is calling on people to help its work investigating the mysteries and history of Hampshire’s coastline.
The Maritime Archaeology Trust is seeking volunteers to help with a variety of projects to help its work investigating, recording and promoting sites of historical interest, and those of coastal change.
The trust helps to uncover the mysteries that lurk on the seabed and also looks at the coast, rivers and areas around the waterways to preserve them.
It is looking for anyone with a passion for learning about how heritage is recorded, and for people to help with a variety of projects this year, including helping support surveys and teaching people about Hampshire’s coastline.
