Jim Davidson beats rapper Dappy to scoop Celebrity Big Brother crown

Daily Echo: Hampshire comedian Jim, Davidson wins Celebrity Big Brother Hampshire comedian Jim, Davidson wins Celebrity Big Brother

HAMPSHIRE comedian Jim Davidson has won this year's Celebrity Big Brother.

The 60-year-old, who has a home in the village of Stockbridge, beat N-Dubz star Dappy to the crown.

The former Big Break and Generation Game host remained a popular figure in the famous house and with viewers, despite arguing with fellow housemates including Linda Nolan.

Daily Echo:

Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke, who was brought up in Southampton, came third.

He was handed a yellow banner brandishing the words "Made in Southampton" as he soaked up the applause from the crowd.

cf: No true Scotsman

In other news, it turns out that the definition of "comedian" isn't "someone a random moron on the Echo website finds funny"

Not only that but it's possible to be funny and offensive at the same time.
