A HAMPSHIRE bus service has reduced its fare price between two towns.
First Hampshire’s weekly ticket will now cost £18, a pound cheaper, for the Eclipse Service E1/E2 between Fareham and Gosport.
This brings the service in line with the weekly Portsmouth fare.
The Eclipse Bus Rapid Transit network, which First runs in partnership with Hampshire County Council, was launched in April 2012 and has already carried nearly two million passengers.
First says 64 per cent more people now use the Eclipse service than the services it replaced and 14 per cent have moved from car to bus.
