TWO Hampshire schoolgirls are to appear on more than a million milk cartons across the UK.

Ellie Thompson and her friend Madeline Thomas, both 11, are the new stars of the St Helen’s Farm goats’ milk cartons, after writing to the Yorkshire-based company to tell them how much they love it.

The Perins School pupils, from Alresford, both started drinking the milk with encouragement from their mothers. Ellie started drinking it to try to improve the symptoms of her eczema, while Madeline enjoys it in hot chocolate.

Madeline said: “I was chatting to Ellie a few months ago at school and found out we were both St Helen’s Farm goat’s milk lovers.

“We’ve both benefited from switching from cow’s milk to goats’ milk.”
