THE Dawn of Chinese New Year will be celebrated at the Guildhall in Worcester this weekend.
The year of the horse began on Friday, February 1, but this Sunday there will be a traditional celebration to mark the occasion at the town centre building.
From noon until 3pm the traditional Chinese Lion Dance will take place alongside firecrackers, Chinese acrobatics and a raffle draw.
Entry to the event is free but donations can be made to organisers, the Worcestershire Chinese Association.
