Prestigious awards for University of Southampton science professors
TWO professors from the University of Southampton have been awarded highly prestigious Wolfson Research Merit Awards by the Royal Society, the UK’s national academy of science.
Professor Bashir Al-Hashimi and professor Damon Teagle have received their awards in recognition of outstanding contribution to their respective fields.
Jointly funded by the Wolfson Foundation and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), the Wolfson Research Merit Award recognises talented scientists who are of outstanding achievement and potential.
