POLICE are hunting burglars who carried out a £2,000 raid on a Hampshire home.

The burglary, which took place in Broadmead Road in Nursling, is thought to have involved three men who stole more than £2,000 in cash from the property.

One of the residents disturbed one of the men during the raid, which happened between 6.20pm and 6.35pm on January 29.

One of the burglars is described as white, 5ft 7in, clean shaven, and aged between 24 and 30.

He is believed to be of a fair complexion and was wearing dark clothing and a dark cap.

Detective Sergeant Scott Spafford said: “The elderly occupants were in another room at their property whilst this burglary occurred.

“The burglar was disturbed by one of the occupants, but still managed to take a large amount of cash.”
