Talk on beauty in the war
BEAUTY and fashion during the Second World War is the subject of a talk in Southampton.
Jane Glennie of Pedlars and Petticoats will lead the Put Your Best Face Forward event from noon to 1.30pm on March 8.
The event at the SeaCity Museum be a chance to have a wartime makeover, fashion advice, take part in a recipe guessing game and a singalong.
It costs £6-7, and tickets can be booked by calling 023 8083 4536.
