AFTER a night of being battered by heavy rain and strong winds, Hampshire unfortunately faces no respite today.
The Met Office has issued an orange wind warning throughout the morning, with winds reaching up to 60mph, as well as a yellow warning for yet more heavy rain for the next 24 hours.
However, there will be some let up on Sunday, which is expected to be dry and may even see the appearance of the sun, which will come as a huge relief to those battling the floods.
But the break from the wet stuff doesn’t last long, with more rain forecast for Monday and Tuesday, however, they are not expected to be as persistent as the last couple of days.
Last night a new Severe Flood Warning was issued for Lymington and Keyhaven. There are also 102 Flood Warnings and 151 Flood Alerts still in place across the south east.
