A FORMER bank in Fawley has fetched £85,000 at auction.
The Old Bank in The Square, Fawley, was among 13 lots sold by Clive Emson, the regional land and property auctioneers, at the Ageas Bowl, West End.
Auctioneer Rob Marchant said the bank, later used as a shop, attracted keen interest from bidders.
He added: “The property is in need of complete refurbishment and could make a residential conversion project, subject to all the necessary consents being obtainable.”
