Furniture store raises £1,700
CUSTOMERS at a Southampton furniture store have helped raise more than £1,700 for charity.
Furniture Village’s store in West Quay Retail Park introduced a collection sofa as part of its Sofa of Change initiative in aid of the Anthony Nolan charity.
Customers were invited to make a donation while enjoying tea, coffee and cookies.
Their efforts raised a total of £1,714 during 2013.
