A HAMPSHIRE brewery helped toast the 150th anniversary of the Journalists’ Charity.
Upham Brewery provided the refreshments at the event at St Bride’s Church, London, known as “the cathedral of Fleet Street”.
Actor Simon Callow read from Charles Dickens – one of the charity’s founders in 1864 – while representatives from many of the country’s leading news organisations were in attendance.
And during the VIP reception many of them enjoyed a pint of Upham Brewery’s best-selling ale, Punter.
