The Prince of Wales will tour the new Mary Rose Museum nearly 39 years since he first dived on the wreck site.
Charles, who is president of the Mary Rose Trust, will be accompanied by the Duchess of Cornwall during his visit to the purpose-built museum at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
The centre opened last year re-uniting the hull with thousands of artefacts for the first time since they were lifted from the seabed of the Solent in 1982.
Charles has been actively involved with the flagship of Henry VIII's navy since his first dive on the wreck on July 30, 1975, and has followed the project ever since.
He was one of the last people to dive down to the Mary Rose wreck in 1982, before watching the hull being raised from the site just outside Portsmouth Harbour where it was sunk in battle in 1545.
The royal couple will tour the museum, including the Stavros Niarchos Learning Suite and will have an opportunity to view at close quarters some of the unique artefacts as well as meet trustees, major donors, staff and volunteers.
Rear Admiral John Lippiett, chief executive of the Mary Rose Trust, said: ''We are delighted to be welcoming their royal highnesses to the Mary Rose and to be able to show them around our new museum.
''They will meet many of the people who have made the museum project possible. His Royal Highness' personal involvement has been fundamental throughout the project's history and we look forward to showing him our achievements.
''We are especially pleased that Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall will be paying her first visit to the Mary Rose.''
After the visit to the Tudor warship, Charles will visit one of the navy's newest and most advanced warships, the Type 45 destroyer HMS Dragon at Portsmouth Naval Base where he will tour the ship, including the operations room and the ward room where he will attend a reception with members of the ship's crew.
Camilla, who is Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Naval Medical Services, will visit HMS Illustrious and will view a demonstration by the ship's medical team and meet members of the ship's crew.
The royal couple will then attend a reception on board Illustrious for personnel recently returned from helping with the Typhoon Haiyan relief effort in the Philippines.
