DETECTIVES are investigating an attack on a woman in Hampshire.

The 21-year-old victim was assaulted in Hunts Pond Road in Locks Heath between 5.20pm and 5.55pm last Wednesday.

Her assailant was part of a group of four or five women.

Although the victim was not seriously injured, she was left with pain in her cheek and broke her glasses when she fell to the floor.

Detectives looking into the attack are urging anyone with information to contact PC Canneaux at Fareham police station on 101.
