THEY have raised hundreds for charity.
And now members of Southampton’s Dynamo Club will present a cheque for £300 to Hounds for Heroes, their charity of the year.
Charity founder Allen Parton will be at the club to collect the money at its next meeting from 2pm on Friday.
He will also be speaking about the work the charity does for those who have become disabled, and how his dog Endal transformed his life after he was injured in the Gulf War.
Endal died in 2009 but now EJ (Endal Junior) is helping Allen.
The money will help the charity continue to provide specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled people from the emergency services and armed forces.
The Dynamo Club was founded in 1920 by women who wanted to continue friendships made during the First World War.
The club meets on the second and fourth Friday of every month.
