EMERGENCY services descended on a Hampshire industrial site this morning after a man was seen plunging from a ladder.
Shore Road in Hythe was shut after the man was seen falling from one part of a roof to another in Hythe Marine Park.
Fire crews, ambulances and police were called to the scene after a member of staff at neighbouring Waterside Blinds Ltd witnessed the man fall about 10 ft and scream out in pain.
Hampshire police said that the emergency services were dealing with an industrial accident. Hampshire Fire and Rescue used their aerial ladder to help bring the man down.
The injured man has now been taken to Southampton General Hospital, although the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
