Lymington lifeboat to the rescue in Solent
HAMPSHIRE rescuers came to the aid of two boats in the Solent.
Crews from Lymington lifeboat station were called to Warden Lodge on the Isle of Wight to refloat a 34ft yacht. But soon after they sped to a yacht that had run aground at Newtown Creek, Isle of Wight, which was taking on water.
Both incidents took place on Saturday.
It is understood there were no injuries.
