Thirty jobs are being created at Hampshire’s latest shopping village thanks to the arrival of three new shops.

Fashion retailers Monsoon, Joules and Fussy Nation have all announced they will open at Whiteley Shopping Centre over the next two months.

Monsoon will open this month, while Joules and Fussy Nation will welcome customers from April.

The £84million village was officially opened by television star Denise van Outen last May, with 1,550 jobs created at its array of new stores, cafes and outlets.

Another 30 jobs were recently created when Japanese eateries Wagamama and Yo! Sushi opened.

Work is also set to start soon on the second phase of the shopping centre, which will feature posh restaurants and a nine-screen Cineworld cinema.

Centre manager Neil Carter said: “Welcoming Monsoon, Joules and Fussy Nation’s first store outside of London is a real pleasure, and they are all great additions to our already impressive fashion line-up.”
