BURGLARS made off with over £49,000 worth of jewellery after a raid at a Hampshire home.

Now officers are appealing for information after the break-in at a house in Cedar Road, Farnborough, between February 14 and 17.

The thieves made off with two safes, which were later found found just off Hawley Lane on February 21, and were smashed open.

A unique engraved parachute regiment watch was amongst the items stolen, as well as several Rolex and Tag Heuer watches, gold and diamond rings, necklaces and earrings.
