Flags will be raised in a Hampshire town in a historic event to celebrate the Commonwealth.
Fareham will be one of 500 places where flags are put up to mark Commonwealth Day on Monday. The flagpoles involved are on West Street and the ceremony takes place at 9.40am.
Like other venues, a specially written Commonwealth Affirmation will be read out with a message from the Queen.
Flags will also be raised on the UK’s four highest National Peaks - Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis, Mount Snowdon and Slieve Donard.
