FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire at a warehouse last night.

They were called to a disused building in the former railway works, on Campbell Road, in Eastleigh, where a pile of pallets were on fire and had been spotted by an on site security guard.

No-one was hurt or rescued and the fire was put out using two jets and two breathing apparatus following the call just after 8am this morning.

Damage was limited to the pallets
