CULTURE Secretary Maria Miller visited Southampton today to explore the city’s past, present and future arts legacy.
The senior Conservative politician arrived at the Sea City Museum to tour the complex, the Titanic Memorial and the new Ship to Shore exhibition.
The minister, who is MP for Basingstoke, also heard about the progress of the city’s new £21m arts complex being built off Guildhall Square.
Southampton Conservative group leader Royston Smith and arts complex project team leader Jill Low were among those showing her around.
