THE Point’s showcase for male dance will see 150 talented performers take to the stage as it celebrates its tenth anniversary in style this weekend.

The Royal Academy of Dance’s (RAD) is partnering up with the venue to celebrate a decade of their HeadStart showcase.

The weekend will combine two celebrated events, the RAD’s successful Boys Only!

programme and The Point’s HeadStart platform, to create a unique dance training and performance opportunity just for boys.

Over the course of ten years, HeadStart has become one of the UK’s largest regional male-dance platforms. Boys Only! offers young men across Hampshire the chance to learn new steps in contemporary, ballet, and urban dance, before giving a final performance on the HeadStart stage.

They will work with highly experienced male dance professionals and develop their performance skills with a curtain raiser performance for HeadStart, where dancers will work with ZoieLogic Dance Theatre and Avant Garde Dance to present a programme of bold, breathtaking dance.
