A HAMPSHIRE charity has been awarded thousands of pounds in recognition for its “excellent work” providing complementary therapies to cancer patients.
Wessex Cancer Trust (WCT) has been given £5,000 from The Caron Keating Foundation, allowing it to boost its work offering complementary therapies at its centres in Hythe, Romsey and Southampton.
The foundation was set up in memory of TV presenter Caron Keating, pictured, who died of cancer in 2004.
Sally Hall, WCT chief executive, said: “This is a very generous donation and a really wonderful boost for our work incorporating complementary therapies at Hythe, Romsey and Southampton.”
