Jail warning for child abuse images conviction
A SOUTHAMPTON man has been told he may be sent to prison after he had admitted 21 pornography charges involving about 900 pictures of children at the city crown court.
Judge Peter Henry delivered the warning to Keith Firman, 63, of Suttones Place after he had admitted 16 charges of distributing indecent images, four of making them and one of possessing them. The offences are alleged to have happened between October 2011 and December 2012.
Said to be of previous good character, Firman was bailed pending sentence on March 31.
