SHE MAY only be small but she holds one of the biggest titles in British beauty pageantry for youngsters.
Aged just four, Hampshire’s Beau Bailey has been crowned Mini Face of the Year 2014, fending off competition from youngsters across the country as old as eight.
The youngster from Hedge End is now preparing to jet off to Disneyland in America, where she will compete in the grand final in a bid to become Mini Face of the Globe 2014.
This pageant is different to the 30 others that Beau has been competing in since she was two – favouring a more natural look and getting competitors to ditch the glitz and glamour.
Not only did she wow judges with her beaming smile on stage as she walked the mini catwalk in both her “casual” outfit and pink party dress, she also impressed with her fundraising efforts for the Rainbow Foundation.
With the help of her mum Anita, she organised her very own beauty pageant in just three days, raising more than £800.
Anita said: “I am so proud because this is a massive title for such a little girl. She was over the moon to win and she cannot wait to go to Disney.
“As she was so young she was viewed as the underdog but this just goes to show that you should never underestimate the underdog.”
