A developer will find out next week if plans for ten new flats in Southampton have been successful.
Saxon Weald Homes wants to demolish a Victorian villa in Winn Road and replace it with a five-storey building.
That would contain two one-bed flats, seven two-bed flats and one three-bed flat, with parking and landscaping.
A number of residents have objected to the plans, saying the new building would be out of keeping with its surroundings and lead to parking issues.
But the city council’s planning panel are recommended to give approval at their meeting on March 25.
